Placement.

Direction 方向

It is recommended to place cacti and succulents near east / south-facing windows with stronger sunlight.
可放置向東／南近窗位，仙人掌和多肉植物需較強光照。
If it is placed in west / north-facing windows, the sunlight is less intense, so a plant light is necessary.
若放置向西／北位置，由於光照較短及少，要加植物燈。
Plant Light 植物燈
The height of the light should be determined in consultation with the manufacturer to avoid it being too high or too low;
植物燈都需跟廠家了解放燈高度，不要太高或太低；
If it is too high: it will not be effective
太高則沒有效果
if it is too low: the lighting will be too strong
太低則光照過強
The lighting time is generally 6-8 hours.
開燈時間一般為6－8小時就可以

Ventilation 通風

Please maintain indoor ventilation, it is the most critical condition for plant maintenance. Avoid closing the windows completely, and let in fresh air to the plants as much as possible, although it is okay to leave only gaps or turn on air-conditioning.

緊記保持室內通風，通風是養護植物最關鍵的條件。避免把窗戶全關，盡量流放新鮮空氣給予植物，儘管只留罅隙或開冷氣也沒問題。

Cacti need ventilation, especially after watering, as cacti generally do not like their roots to be damp for long periods. If you do not want to open the windows, you can install a small fan when you are away from home, but do not blow the air directly at the plants - blowing the air around them is sufficient. Insufficient ventilation can cause more problems for the plants, such as bacteria or insects.

仙人掌需要通風，由其澆水後，仙人掌一般都不喜歡根部長期濕潤，若不想打開窗戶，離家後可安裝小風扇，但不要正面向她吹風，周圍吹風就可以。通風不足會令她們產生較多問題，例如細菌或昆蟲滋生。

Watering.

Humidity varies from place to place, making it difficult to determine when to water plants based on specific days or weeks. It is recommended to observe the soil humidity to determine when to water the plants.

因每個地方的濕度不一，所以很難以日子或星期而決定每盆植物澆水的時間，一般養護植物以觀察泥土濕度而決定澆水時間。

Basic Procedures 基本步驟

Using a wooden chopstick, insert it into the soil at the edge of the pot. Wait for 1-2 minutes, and then pick it up.
使用木筷子，將其插進盆邊的植料位置，等1－2分鐘再拿起。
Touch the attached soil, and if it feels powdery or dry, then it is time to water the plant. Watering should only be done when the soil is completely dry, and this should be done consistently each time.
摸一下依附的植料，若是粉塵狀或感覺乾燥時即可澆水。每次澆水都必需要植料全乾才進行。
Watering should be thorough, and since the soil is sandy, it is recommended to water the soil several times to ensure it is completely moisturised each time. Every pot has a drainage hole, and it is essential to water until the water flows out of the bottom of the pot. ↪ Do not stop watering just because the water starts to flow out; water several times to ensure even watering.
澆水要澆透，由於植料是沙土，建議可多次向植料位置澆水，確保每次植料完成澆水後都完全濕透－每個花盆設有排水孔，必需要澆透，直到底盆流出水份便成。↪ 注意不要出水即停手，多澆幾次確保均勻澆透。
When watering, avoid contact with the plant unless the location is well-ventilated or outdoors.
澆水時，要避免接觸到植株，除非很位置很通風或於室外。
Avoid stagnant water in the bottom pot; potted plants will absorb the remaining water and cause overwatering, which will also encourage mosquito breeding, therefore It is crucial to drain excess water.
緊記清理底盆積水，倒走水多餘水份，盆栽會吸走餘下水份而導致水份過多，助長細菌和蚊蟲滋生。

Fertilising.

Fertilization is generally not necessary. If you do want to fertilize, it should only be done during the growing seasons, spring, summer and autumn, and the plant should be allowed to rest during winter.

施肥基本上不太需要，如真的很想施肥，請只在春夏秋季生長期進行，冬季需讓她休息。

It is important to choose fertilizer specifically made for cacti and succulents. It is recommended to choose granular fertilizer as liquid fertilizer is more difficult to control, and over-fertilization can easily damage the roots. It is also necessary to follow the instructions on the package, as the amount of fertilizer needed may vary between brands.

需選擇仙人掌及多肉植物專用的肥料，建議選擇粒狀，液體較難控制，肥量過多會容易燒根，亦必需跟從包裝指引，因每個牌子肥量不一。

If the plant is not in a healthy state, do not fertilize it. Fertilization can only be done when the plant is at its strongest.

切記當植物處於不太健康的狀態，千萬不要施肥，施肥只能當植物處於最健壯的時候去進行。
